So last week was drama about not getting invited when I was expecting to be. Today is the opposite situation. Not as much of a challenge I suppose but I don’t know how to respond. I received a birthday party invite from a guy I used to know. We were in the same homegroup at church and so I did know him reasonably well, but we haven’t been in the same group in about 2 years.

And he was a rather interesting guy when we were in the same group. Such as he’s pretty shallow and is only into beautiful women, hot cars and ‘stuff’. Things that I find decidedly unattractive.  So anyways I haven’t chatted or heard from him in years. And now, I’ve got an invite for his birthday party this coming week. It seems slightly weird, but I suspect he’s seen some of the great photos in my FB profile — I look distinctly better than I did when he last saw me. And he’s that kind of guy.

So yeah I go from one situation to exactly the opposite. Life is interesting, to say the least…
